A day that reminds of the sacrifices of the proud nation of Iran and the escape of the Portuguese invaders after 117 years of oppressive control over the southern coasts of the country (April 21, 1622 AD) following the bravery of the Iranian army led by the Emir of Persia (Imam Qoli Khan). On this day in 1621, Shah Abbas Safavi was able to free Hormuz from the Portuguese, so that she will always be remembered well for this action.
