Imam Baqir (AS) was poisoned in the year 114 by the order of Hisham Ibn Abdul Malik and finally he was martyred on the seventh day of Dhul Hijjah. One of the most important characteristics of Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) was that he was Baqir al-Uloom.
